WE are looking for people interested in presenting papers relating to the use of science-fiction, whether visual or text-based, as a means of teaching issues of relevance in political science and international relations for a proposed panel for the International Studies Association Annual Conference in Chicago, (USA) in 2007.
Any aspect of political science, such as democracy, the formation of identities, issues of first contact and war and violence, among others and discussions of their representations in Sci-Fi are welcome. We are looking for a fun and informative discussion on the topic.
