CALL FOR PAPERS in Ancient Political Philosophy, for inclusion on a series of panels to be sponsored by the Society for the Study of Greek Political Thought (SGPT) at the upcoming Northeastern Political Science Association annual meeting. The NPSA conference will be held this year in Boston, 9-11 November 2006, at the Omni Parker Hotel.

We welcome papers on a wide range of themes in political philosophy related to the study of classical Greek texts and authors (e.g., Homer, Herodotus, Thucydides, Xenophon, Plato, Isocrates, Demosthenes, Aristotle, Polybius).

Please send proposals either to the NPSA Section Chair in Ancient Political Philosophy directly (Thornton Lockwood, lockwood@fordham.edu), or to the SGPT Panels Coordinator (Dustin Gish, dustingish@hotmail.com).

Deadline for submission of proposals is May 23, 2006.
