I’m editing the Industrial Revolution book for ABC-Clio’s Perspectives in American Social History Series. This series looks at major events in American history from the point of view of average Americans. Each chapter will cover a particular subcategory of people. I’m looking for writers for several chapters including
*Free Male Artisans
*Free Women Workers
*Slaves
*Early Nationalists
*Working Class
*Immigrants
*Northerners
*New Southerners
Writers for this series should be able to summarize recent historiography in an engaging, readable fashion that highlights the experiences of individual Americans. I would be very open to including chapters by graduate students in this book. I would particularly like to hear from writers who could complete a chapter by August 1. There will be a $100 honorarium for all contributors.
