IGEL, the International Society for the Empirical Study of Literature and Media, will hold its 10th biennual conference in 2006 (for full information, see the conference website at http://www.redes.lmu.de/igel/). The conference takes place from Saturday 5th to Wednesday 9th August 2006, in the renovated monastery on the picturesque Lady’s Isle (Fraueninsel) in Lake Chiem, near Munich, Germany. Early registration deadline is June 1. Although the deadline for submitting abstracts has passed, there may be room for a late entry if you contact Willie van Peer immediately (vanpeer@daf.uni-muenchen.de).
