In conjunction with the exhibition, Group Dynamics: Family Portraits and Scenes of Everyday Life at the New-York Historical Society, the Society will present a one-day symposium, moderated by Columbia University professor Richard Brilliant, exploring themes presented in the exhibition and its accompanying catalogue of the same title (The New Press, 2006).
