CALL-FOR-PAPERS, PROPOSALS, PANELS:
The Teaching Popular Culture Area is seeking papers and proposals devoted to all aspects of teaching popular culture including methods, pedagogies, and strategies, course development and curricula as well as teaching philosophies, narratives, assessment, service learning, engagement, and “good practices.” Papers and proposals targeting diverse educational levels—e.g., K-12, community college, college and university--are welcome.
PROPOSAL INFORMATION:
Submit one-page descriptions with title and 150-word (or less) abstract (by post, FAX, or e-mail) to the Area Chair, Angela Nelson. All proposals should include contact information as well as DVD player requests (we cannot supply audio equipment, slide projectors, computers, or overhead projectors).
