This is a proposed panel for RSA in Miami, 22-24 March 2007.

Title: Artists as Writers, Writers as Artists

I am especially interested in papers that will explore this phenomenon in the Cinquecento: Michelangelo, Vasari, Bronzino, Danese Cattaneo, G. M. Verdizzotti,and others as topics.
