"Interstitio. East European Review of Historical Anthropology" is a magazine published by Rethinking History Center constituted by the Department of History and International Relations, Free International University from Moldova in cooperation with Institute of History, Faculty of Social Science, University of Silesia from Poland.
Resuscitation of historical researches in post-soviet space is a process as slow and difficult as the rehabilitation of all society. Current historiography suffers from the extreme ideologisation of the discipline in the past and the willingness of many historians to distort history in the service of politics. Thus, the process implies not only the recovery of the „white spaces” previously neglected through silence, but important methodological „adjustments” amplified through reorientation of the human dimension researches of history.
An essential aspect of review is promotion of new methods, directions, themes of research in historical scholarship in the post-totalitarian space from Eastern Europe.
