This conference will explore sexual violence in conflict zones around the globe from the ancient world to the late twentieth century. We will be hosting a keynote address on April 27th at 8 p.m. by Rhonda Copelon, Professor of Law at CUNY, to workshop sessions on the 28th and 29th starting at 8:30 a.m. to discuss pre-circulated papers, and a film screening April 29th at 5 p.m. in which we will be screening two documentaries including God Sleeps in Rwanda and Women's Bodies: The Front Lines of the War in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
