The Women Writers Archive is a new web resource dedicated to the study of early modern women's writing. The site contains links, biographical information, and critical resources on Anne Southwell, Elizabeth Egerton, Jane Cavendish, Margaret Cavendish, and Katherine Philips.
Other topics addressed on the website include needlework and education. Recently reviewed books include Heidi Brayman Hackel’s Reading Material in Early Modern England, Jill Seal Millman and Gillian Wright’s Early Modern Women’s Manuscript Poetry, and Helen Ostovich and Elizabeth Sauer’s Reading Early Modern Women: An Anthology of Texts in Manuscript and Print.
