Gender Myths, Gender Meanings: Gender in Asia

This graduate student conference on gender in Asia is open to the public, and all events will be held at the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University, 2 Divinity Avenue, Room 18 (the auditorium). The keynote speech, "Gender and Region," by Tani Barlow will be delivered on Friday April 28 from 4:30-6:00 pm. Panels will be held on Saturday April 29, their titles and times are: Self-fashioning (9:00 am); Gender and Film (10:00 am), Gender and the Nation (11:30 am); Gender and Religion (12:30 pm); Gender and Literature (2:30 pm); Gender and the Public Sphere (3:30 pm), and Gender: Diverse Perspectives (5:00 pm).
