An exploration of Victorian Women’s history, assessing future developments, comparing the lives of British and North American women, and enabling scholars from both sides of the Atlantic to exchange their views. This conference will reflect on the fruits of thirty four years of scholarship, comment on the current state of the field and assess its future development.
