Transforming the Guru is a panel discussion that explores the influence of feminism on the male dominated guru parampara of South Asian dance and miniature painting. The panel features Ananya Chatterjea (dancer/choreographer/academic), Gitanjali Kolanad (dancer/choreographer) and visual artists Ambreen Butt and Talha Rathore. The panelists will speak about their own practice and engage in a dialogue across disciplines with moderator Dr. Gillian McCann.
