The School of Arts, Histories and Cultures is committed to fostering interdisciplinary intellectual exchanges within its postgraduate community. This is reflected in the nature of research being undertaken by its current MA and PhD students. This conference is designed for all junior researchers interested in cross-disciplinary research. We invite proposals of 250 – 350 words from postgraduate students at any university who are currently engaged in research of a cross-disciplinary nature. Themes for papers are not restrictive but we are most interested in those that appeal to a broad audience.

Those papers presented at the conference may be submitted for possible inclusion in a special conference issue of the online journal PROGRESS run by postgraduate students of the School of Arts, Histories and Cultures at the University of Manchester.
