Articles and essays for a memorial volume on James Edward Oglethorpe (1696-1785) and the spirit of his time.
Occasion: an exhibition of the Bible Historiale belonging to the Oglethorpe family and on loan to Kennesaw State University from Corpus Christi College, Oxford, England, Feb.-Mar. 2007. The memorial volume will be published by the Kennesaw State University Press in 2007, as part of the exhibition activities.

Feel free to choose any of them or any other pertinent topic focusing on Oglethorpe, his place in history, or the place of the Oglethorpe Bible in the history of the book.
Article (or essay) length should be approximately 20 double-spaced pages or in the 15-25 page range, and an electronic copy must be submitted. Contributions may be written by individuals or co authored. Each contributor will receive one complimentary copy of the memorial volume.
