Over 70 colleges and universities in California have come together to form the Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC). Member campuses include University of California, California State, Community College, and private campuses. HERC has two jobs web sites www.norcalherc.org and www.socalherc.org that have hundreds of jobs in the humanities. The web sites are free to users and offer e-job alerts to registered users.
