This is an interdisciplinary conference organised by the Centre for Renaissance & Early Modern studies, University of York. It will focus on: Shakespeare "The Taming of the Shrew", Fletcher "The Woman's Prize" and John Lacy "Sauny the Scott", and speakers include: Sandra Clark (Birkbeck); Michael Cordner (York), Helmer Helmers (Leiden), Graham Holderness (Hertfordshire), Barbara Hodgdon (Michigan), and Leah Marcus (Vanderbilt). The conference is being held over 2 days, 26 and 27 May, at the Kings Manor site in central York, UK.
