Day-long symposium paying tribute to the life and legacy of "The Goldbergs", on radio, television, film, and food. Participants include: J. Hoberman, senior film critic, "The Village Voice", Donald Weber(Mt. Holyoke College), Aviva Kempner, filmmaker/director, 'The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg', and David Zurawik, author of "The Jews of Prime Time" and television critic. The event honors the 50th anniversary of the program’s finale, and evaluates its impact on American Jewish life. Co-sponsors: the American Jewish Historical Society, Yeshiva College, The Jewish Museum, the Jewish Women's Archive, and Yeshiva University Museum.
