The fifteenth annual Bluegrass Symposium will be held on the campus of the University of Kentucky April 7-8, 2006. In addition to over thirty papers presented by both undergraduate and graduate students, we are honored to welcome Dr. Edward J. Larson, the Herman E. Talmadge Chair of Law and Richard B. Russell Professor of History, as the keynote plenary speaker. He will present an address entitled, "From Dayton to Dover: The Legal Assault on Teaching Evolution," on Friday, April 7, at 5 PM, in the UK Law School Courtroom. All events connected with the symposium are free and open to the public.
