The International Medieval Society-Paris announces its 2006 Symposium, "Foreigners, Strangers, and Others in Medieval France," which will take place at the École nationale des Chartes from 29 June-1 July. Professor William Chester Jordan (Princeton University) is the keynote speaker and Professor Keith Busby (University of Wisconsin-Madison) the session respondent. There will also be a medieval Paris session with Professor Michael T. Davis (Mount Holyoke) as keynote, and a visit with specialists to medieval sites on the Right Bank. Registration begins online on 1 April.
