Hillel at UCLA is offering an exclusive photo exhibition of images taken in Sudan's Darfur province by world-renowned photographer, Ron Haviv, who traveled to the area with UNICEF. Haviv's unique photographic perspective of Darfur gives viewers a haunting look at daily life among the children of this desert region, who have endured years of hardship and brutal civil conflict.
On March 12 at 4:00 pm there will be an opening reception with the photographer, followed by a panel discussion beginning at 5:00 pm.
