The second edition of A HANDBOOK OF AMERICAN HISTORY HISTORY: FROM THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR TO THE PRESENT, edited by Jerry K. Sweeney, is now in print. Each of seven chapters includes an introduction, a chronology, an annotated bibliography, and explanations of people and military operations.
