The second edition of A HANDBOOK OF AMERICAN HISTORY HISTORY: FROM THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR TO THE PRESENT, edited by Jerry K. Sweeney, is now in print. Each of seven chapters includes an introduction, a chronology, an annotated bibliography, and explanations of people and military operations. New to the second edition is a chapter covering 1995 to 2004 and an index. A Handbook of American Military History is the perfect reference for buffs, graduate students, instructors, or scholars.
