March 2006 is Irish history month on Reviews in History, the online reviews journal of the Institute of Historical Research (University of London). Ten reviews of recent titles will be published throughout the month on a variety of themes which are sure to be of interest to specialists and non-specialists in Irish history.
The first new reviews were published today:

2. Raymond Gillespie, Reading Ireland: Print, Reading and Social Change in Early Modern Ireland (http://www.history.ac.uk/reviews/paper/raymond.html)
Several major publishers are also offering discounts of up to 25% on Irish history titles. See http://www.history.ac.uk/reviews/paper/offers.html for details.
More reviews will follow on every Friday of this month. You can subscribe free to the Reviews in History email alert by emailing "SUBSCRIBE IHM2" to ihr.reviews@sas.ac.uk.
