The editors of the Leo Baeck Institute Year Book will continue to publish abstracts of recently completed Ph.D. theses (cut-off date 2002) on topics dealing with the history of German-speaking Jewry in forthcoming volumes of the Year Book.

Scholars are invited to send an abstract of their doctoral thesis in English (no more than 500 words) to the editors by email attachment (details s. below). The deadline is 15 May 2006. Although the abstract must be in English the language of the thesis is immaterial.

when and where the thesis was completed

the major archival sources on which the research was based

full publication details, if applicable

personal contact details.
