L’Institut d’études canadiennes de McGill organise un symposium intitulé «L’ordre libéral en histoire canadienne». Poursuivant le travail amorcé par Ian McKay («The Liberal Order Framework: A Prospectus for a Reconnaissance of Canadian History», Canadian Historical Review, 81: 4, 2000), ce symposium réunira des chercheurs reconnus qui discuteront du concept de «l’ordre libéral» et de son évolution dans l’histoire et la pratique historienne.

The McGill Institute for the Study of Canada is organizing a symposium entitled “The Liberal Order in Canadian History.” Following Ian McKay’s groundbreaking article (“The Liberal Order Framework: A Prospectus for a Reconnaissance of Canadian History”, Canadian Historical Review, 81: 4, 2000), this symposium will bring together prominent scholars who will discuss the concept of a “liberal order”, its evolution in Canadian history, and its implications for historical practice.
