Hisory experts needed to write chronological narrative histories of Latin American, Middle Eastern and Asian countries for high school students up through the general public.
Countries needed include: Columbia, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Kuwait, Syria, Pakistan, and Thailand.
70,000 words each; manuscript deadline of 12 months from contract signing
These reference works will include an introduction to the nation, 6-10 chapters surveying the country's history with an emphasis on the 20th century, an appendex including 20-40 biographical entries on the key figures in the country’s history, a bibliographical essay on significant contemporary works accessible to the general reader, a glossary of frequently used terms, and a general subject index.
Authors must have Ph.D. and/or be independent scholars who are subject specialists and proven producers of pertinent publications. Co-authoring is fine. Replies only to qualified candidates.
