Sewall-Belmont House and Museum announces a preview release of the Digital Collection of the National Woman's Party on March 3. The Collection will feature the most unique example of each searchable category (photographs, political cartoons, parade banners, sculpture, and congressional card file) to demonstrate the broad variety of the NWP collection.
The preview launch will occur on Friday, March 3, 2006 from 8:30am-10am at the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, and will feature speakers from IBM, the Digitization Project and Dr. Allida Black from the Eleanor Roosevelt Papers at GWU. After the program, the Digital Collection will be accessible on our website at www.sewallbelmont.org, under Collections.
On the anniversary of the Great Suffrage Parade of 1913, we celebrate women builders of communities and dreams with the Digital Collection of the National Woman's Party.
