The nature of Clavism’s content and design is a controlled aggression that seeks neither passivity nor willful ignorance but instead, pensive adoration or acute loathing.
To this end, Clavism is an invocation for the overthrow of this millennium’s monolithic art of Relativism, Primitivism, Pluralism, and spiritual poverty. And though the subject of each work will change, the ethics that govern its creation will remain steadfast.
Thus, Clavism is about the use of today’s objects and icons in the pursuit of immutable artistic, literary, traditional American values, and Christian absolutes.
