‘Massey @ Massey’ is a conference to mark 150 years since the birth of the leading conservative politician and prime minister, William Ferguson Massey.

Papers addressing a broad range of themes relevant to W.F. Massey are invited. These include any aspect of Massey’s life, career and administration, or the social, economic and political context in which he lived.

Those wishing to present a paper should submit an abstract of up to 250 words and details of their institutional affiliation and position by 1 August 2006 to Geoffrey Troughton, School of History, Philosophy and Politics, Massey University, Private Bag 11-222, Palmerston North (G.M.Troughton@massey.ac.nz).
