We are looking for at least two additional participants to submit a panel proposal for the 2007 AHA Conference in Atlanta, GA. The on-line deadline for submission of panel proposals is Wednesday, 15 February, 2006. This panel seeks papers addressing the following themes: Historic development of Islam within non-Muslim societies; the role of syncretism in Islamic and/or rleigious development; transnational influences on Islamic and/or religious development.
