Asian Conference on Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells
(ACSEMSC), Kandy, Sri Lanka (14-16 June 2006)
Organized by the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS) and the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
This is an international conference open to research scientists and research students working in the area of solar energy materials and solar cells to present their research findings, and to discuss with their peers the lateset developments in this field.
Areas covered would include: Heterojunction semiconductor solar cells, Photoelectrochemical solar cells, Polymer solar cells, nano structured materials for solar cells, and solar photovoltaic and solar thermal applications.
The venue is Kandy, the picturesque hill capitol of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka offers a diversity of cultural and religious attractions and a way of life which combines a dynamic present with a tradition bound past.
Dates: Deadline for accepting abstracts 28th February 2006.
