This website contains a detailed guide to doing oral history, covering the essential practical and ethical issues involved. It supports the From Memory Oral History Programme that was launched last year in New Zealand. The aim of this public programme is to gather the memories of New Zealand's war veterans, however the information in the guide is general and applies to all oral history.
