Co-Author Sought. New personal and professional responsibilities require the author for a volume on the social history of the United States in the 1980s to seek a co-author to help complete the writing in a timely way.. The book, one of 10 volumes on the Social History of the United States in the twentieth century, is to be published by ABC-Clio at the end of 2007. The volumes are hybrid books—single-authored encyclopedias that breakdown into thematic essays, and smaller capsules that do not demand large blocs of time or significant primary research; but the need to publish the series at one time does require someone to be available during the next nine months. The co-author would collaborate with the author, working from his outline for the book. Interested historians should send a CV and letter/email to either of the Series Editors: Daniel J.
