The 2006 SHFG Annual Spring Conference will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Ronald Reagan Building. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the first session will commence at 8:30 a.m. The Reagan Building is located at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, and is convenient to Metro. The program will include the following sessions:
PLENARY SESSIONS:
* New and Revived Programs in Federal History
* Disasters of Historic Proportions: The Impact of Hurricanes Katrina and Isabel on Museums, Archival Facilities, and Historic Sites
CONCURRENT SESSIONS:
* The State Department's Office of the Historian: New Initiatives and New Audiences
* Perspectives on Records Management and the Challenges of Electronic Archives
* Museum Education
* History of the Intelligence Community
