This symposium is concerned with heightening awareness on issues of violence against women and families during times of conflict and militarization, hearing and honoring women's voices, providing training for meaningful response, celebrating resiliency, and creating venues for action. In addition, it will provide a forum to hear and honor women's voices, train participants, celebrate resiliency and create venues for action during times of conflict, war, peace and natural disaster.
