I would like to organize a panel on labor conflict for the 2006 SSHA Conference in Minneapolis. My work uses the 1913-14 southern Colorado coal strike and the Colorado National Guard to examine military strikebreaking. Work on labor conflict and relations between labor, capital, and the state would fit well. All geographic areas and time periods are welcome. I also encourage submissions from disciplines outside of history. The SSHA has a great tradition of representing more than one discipline in each panel.
Panel proposal deadline is Feb. 15.
