Reviews in History (www.history.ac.uk/reviews/)is the online reviews journal of the Institute of Historical Research at the University of London. Established in 1996, the journal has published nearly 500 reviews of a broad range of scholarly works in history. Reviews are longer than in many journals, giving the reviewer a chance for real engagement with the volume under review. A wide range of historical periods, regions, themes, methods and perspectives are covered. All reviews invite authorial response. Reviews in History has a free weekly email digest alerting subscribers to new reviews. To subscribe for free, email SUBH06 to ihr.reviews@sas.ac.uk.
Reviews in History is well known within the UK academic community, and is now particularly keen to increase the number of books reviewed from non-UK authors and presses, and to expand its readership worldwide. Any comments and suggestions are most welcome, and we look forward to hearing from you in the future.
