This one-day symposium will bring together international practitioners, policy makers, and academics in the field of multiculturalisms to inspect the questions raised by the challenges of multicultural societies in a comparative perspective.
Abstracts are requested for papers on the theories and practices of multiculturalisms in an international perspective. Potential topics for the symposium include:
Multicultural and multifaith societies in practice
Religious tolerance/intolerance and multiculturalism
Citizenship, integration, and diversity
Multiculturalism in comparative perspectives
