A brief description of the project:
The Encyclopedia of Love is the first comprehensive reference book on the subject of love in world religions from antiquity to our contemporary period. The aim of the Encyclopedia is to inform the reader of the extent and richness of religious teachings on love by offering an extensive range of topics and discussion of literature that have philosophic, psychological, and religious meaning and application to everyday life. The Encyclopedia of Love will have approximately 200 entries and will include a selection of culture-specific terms, texts and thinkers, as well as general concepts that have cross-cultural analogues.
