I am seeking participants for a panel on responses to genocide at the 2007 AHA annual meeting (January 4-7, 2007) in Atlanta. Given the ongoing genocide in Darfur, it would be useful to examine historical responses to genocide and similar humanitarian crises. Papers should examine the successes and failures of previous responses to genocide in an effort to provide current policy makers with a deeper understanding of the possibilities for genocide rescue.
Interested individuals should send an inquiry with a brief paper topic, sources, and academic credentials to pomakoyk@sunyacc.edu.
