The Gulf Coast Consortium of Latin American Colonialists invites paper proposals from faculty, graduate students and independent scholars on topics related to the conference’s theme. Proposals on any topics related to colonial Latin America are also welcome. Proposals should be no more than 200 words in length and are due no later than January 12th, 2006. Papers will be due by March 17th 2006. Attendance by all interested scholars is heartily encouraged.
