We are pleased to announce that the Symposium Of The Hıstory And Culture Of Denızlı And Its Surroundıngs (West Anotolia) will be held at Pamukkale University on September 6-8 2006. It will take place on the main Campus in Kınıklı. The accommodation will be provided by Pamukkale University in hotels in Denizli. During the Symposium some touristic visits to Pamukkale and the historical ruins in the vicinity will be made. We can book in at hotels for the visitors who would like to visit Aegean Seaside before the symposium. The participants, who intend to join XVth Congress of Turkish History in Ankara as well will be transported to Ankara.

Participants should present their papers in English. We welcome papers on all aspects of history and culture of Denizli. Presentations should not be longer than 20 minutes, since a ten minutes discussion will follow each session. If you intend to join the symposium, paper proposals and abstracts (including a note the current academic position) are requested to be sent via e-mail (web page).
