The Post Office and American Values
Two doctoral candidates in the department of history at the University of Arkansas are putting together a panel proposal for the 2007 OAH Annual Meeting(March 29 - April 1, Minneapolis, MN) evaluating the post office as a representative, purveyor, and creator of American moral dictums. We are seeking one additional 250-word paper proposal describing any aspect of this dynamic. (We would be particularly interested in an approach from women’s history, history of sex, or legal history.) Please send proposals and/or contact information to Thomas Aiello, taiello@uark.edu or Brent Riffel, brentriffel@gmail.com. Thanks.
