"One of the most important books of this decade"; "the most innovative scholarship I have ever read." Unplanned publisher submissions to reviewers led to strong pre-publication recommendations for FASCISM AND DEMOCRACY IN THE HUMAN MIND from a psychologist-family therapist (Douglas Sprenkle, Purdue University); an anthropologist (Robert Hitchcock, University of Nebraska); a sociologist (Eric Markusen, Southwest State University and Danish Institute for International Relations); and a philosopher (Henry Theriaulyt, Worcester State College. These are all in the publisher's catalogue which can be accessed at the following url. The recommendations especially delight me because together they say say that the book is for a lot of us people and not restricted to a specific discipline or limited range of interests. I began lecturing on this topic, with the same title, at a conference some 25 years ago, and found then and in many subsequent conferences that it aroused a great deal of interest and encouragement to continue developing the idea. I am happy to offer colleagues who will e-mail me a reduced pre-publication price that the University of Nebraska Press has authorized until February 28, 2006, with books expected to be shipped in April.
