The online journal, Rhetorical Topographies (http://rtjournal.cgu.edu), invites the submission of both papers and original art for possible publication for the Jan issue. Rhetorical Topographies is a topic-driven online journal for graduate students in the Arts and Humanities. The intention of the journal is to exhibit both the breadth and the depth of research and exhibition in the various disciplines within the Arts and Humanities by providing a space for discussion between, around and among the different disciplinary insights. The topic for the next issue is Fear. Submissions may investigate any aspect of Fear—anxiety, social/cultural fear, terror/terrorism(s), death, etc.
Selected submissions will accepted for presentation at the annual Bradshaw conference.
We are also accepting submissions for a future issue highlighting the range of topics within the Arts and Humanities; thus, topics outside of Fear are also encouraged.
Submissions should be finished works that highlight original thought and critical thinking.
Student authors are preferred; however, recent graduates and professors will be considered.
Papers should be no longer than 15 double spaced pages in length (use appropriate style for your discipline—MLA, APA, Chicago). Remove identifying references to the author(s) from the paper, and include author information—name discipline, address etc.—in the text of your e-mail.
All art should be submitted on a digital hard copy (CD).
Submission deadline has been extended to December 30, 2005.
Virus-infected and unreadable files will not be considered.
