Stephan Bodian, a leading Zen scholar and author will be leading a study tour this spring to the beautiful mountains of Ecuador in cooperation with Hune Margulies, director of the Martin Buber Institute for Dialogical Ecology!
We will spend several hours together each day in satsang (teachings and dialogues) and meditation, enjoying the silence and inquiring deeply into the truth of our essential nature. (We will also devote several days exclusively to satsang and meditation.) The teachings will be suited to both seasoned spiritual seekers and those new to satsang. (For more information on my approach, please visit my website, www.stephanbodian.org.
The rest of our time will be spent visiting the natural and ecological wonders of the region, dialoguing with indigenous sages, and exploring the culture, including the old city of Quito, designated by UNESCO a "Resource of Humanity" city. The exact dates are April 17-26, 2006.
I anticipate that this will be an extraordinary rich blend of spiritual deepening and cross-cultural exploration.
Enrollment will be limited. If you are interested in further information or would like to register, please email hune@martinbuberinstitute.org.
Please feel free to forward this information to friends who might be interested.
I look forward to seeing you in Ecuador!
