Call for Manuscripts:
RESEARCH IN CULTURAL AND INTELLECTUAL HISTORY
Paul du Quenoy, Ph.D., Series Editor
Academica Press, an independent scholarly publisher, is proud to announce the creation of a new series entitled “Research in Cultural and Intellectual History.” This list, edited by Paul du Quenoy (Department of History, American University in Cairo), is a forum for cutting edge work that pushes traditional disciplinary boundaries or provocatively revisits conventional topics. Manuscripts in the series will ideally be devoted to eclectic and under-explored issues in cultural and intellectual studies and make imaginative uses of theory and method. While addressed primarily to historians, the series also hopes to appeal to active scholars in philosophy, literature, cultural and regional studies, the arts, anthropology, and political science.
The series editor will gladly consider proposals for completed unpublished manuscripts and for prospective book-length research projects, though some preference will be given to the former.
Please direct all proposals and related inquiries (e-mail preferred) to:
