This conference aims to examine Caribbean and Latin American literature from a comparative perspective, exploring the idea of the "Other America" either through such comparative approaches or by focussing on this theme in literature from one particular area. Professor Peter Hulme and Dr. John Kraniauskas are to deliver the keynote addresses.
