Encyclopedia of the Age of Political Revolutions and New Ideologies, 1760-1815
The 2-volume, illustrated Encyclopedia of the Age of Political Revolutions and New Ideologies, 1760-1815 is scheduled to be published by Greenwood Press in 2007. The editor seeks writers for its remaining unassigned entries.
Preference will be given to college professors, published writers, and advanced graduate students, but others qualified to write about this subject will also be considered. The deadline for submissions is negotiable, depending on the volume of work undertaken. Compensation for accepted entries will be the 2-volume set of the Encyclopedia for submissions exceeding 2,000 words, or $20.00 for every 1,000 words.
If you are interested in writing for this important reference work, please send your request and preferred e-mail address to the editor, Gregory Fremont-Barnes (e-mail address shown below).
Qualified candidates will receive a list of the remaining unassigned entries and asked to indicate their preferences. Prospective contributors will receive an assignment and contributors' guidelines by e-mail followed by a release form postal mailed from the publisher to be signed and returned. Completed entries are subject to the normal editing process required for quality publications and are accepted for publication at the discretion of the editor, advisory board, and publisher.
