Céfiro is a graduate student organization at Texas Tech University committed to the investigation and diffusion of Latin American and Iberian literary and cultural creations. The organization publishes a journal twice a year (ISSN 1534-228X), which is indexed in the MLA International Bibliography.
Céfiro's journal is intended to be inclusive in its publications while maintaining its professionalism and integrity as an Academic Journal. For the 2005-2006 academic year, Céfiro is accepting submissions on any topic (Literary Criticism, Cultural Studies, Linguistics, Translation, Philosophy, Creative Writing, etc.) dealing with Latin American and Iberian Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
Céfiro invites submissions of critical and creative works. Critical works can be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese and not to exceed twenty double-spaced pages. Creative works must be written in Spanish or Portuguese and no longer than fifteen double-spaced pages. Manuscripts should be prepared following the MLA Style. Notes and the list of works cited are to appear on pages at the conclusion of the article.
Submissions should be sent electronically in Microsoft Word to the editor, Keith Anthis (keith.anthis@ttu.edu).
Once a submission has passed peer review and has been accepted, subscription is required to publish in Céfiro's journal ($20.00 for two issues a year)
